I visited Django on a Wednesday afternoon and, together with a friend, chose a table by the window on a kind of stage. Fifteen minutes after opening we were asked to take another table because a band started setting up on stage. From then on the music turned off and there was only soundcheck noise of drums, guitars and bass. The cafe didn't open until 4 p.m. (Couldn't it have been done before then?) We were suggested to go upstairs. We were playing pool and some staff members were having a meeting next to us. Even though I didn't want to "eavesdrop", I unwittingly followed the entire heated conversation about an incident where the police had to intervene and not everyone on staff had been on the same page. Was this the place to discuss this? I am convinced that my experience was an isolated event but it was also my first visit. There is a very pleasant atmosphere in this shop and since I lived in the area, I often saw a very pleasant atmosphere of partying people from outside. I think my experience was well below average of 'normal'. Not everything was negative, but if I can give one small point of criticism... I wonder why pints are served in lemonade glasses.
