Normally, I just love going to this Dischem, but today I had a very bad experience and this should be reported and name and shame the terrible service I got from one of the employees, known to the manager. Luckily, 3 awesome employees came to the rescue. Yvonne, Grace, and the manager Henry. I am an insulin resistant patient and need a specific type of needle. I asked at the section that keeps the needles, and the people helping was extremely unhelpful. Then I got meds at the self care section and was helped by the most awesome lady called Yvonne. I told her about my dilemma, and she immediately said. Wait a minute and went to check. Then both of us asked the very rude lady working in that section. I couldn't believe what I encountered! There were huge boxes of insulin injections , but the trays keeping all the different sizes in smaller packets were empty. She literally, very irritated, put her hand in each while knocking, and said they were empty and without any word turned around and walked away. How rude! Grace came to help and even opened one of the big boxes , but needles were way too long. I called the manager Henry. He was of great help. Took my cellphone number and, within an hour, gave some feedback. My question is? Who does the stocktake? That shelves run empty? Shelves can't run empty before realizing it, and I sincerely hope management speaks to this rude lady who helped me. That is not the person to be working at a friendly pharmacy like Dischem. An environment where you have to deal with people all day long.

I could not find my car keys when I got to my car. When I asked dis chem security whether someone handed my car keys in they went the extra mile in helping me look for it. Eventually we found it on the perfume counter. Five stars for the 2 (male and female) who worked this morning 19 December 2023. Esmé Geel
