This summer we had a wedding in Denizia, I have to praise their food, service and restaurant. But I must also say that they are not negotiators who want to please her a little and meet the other side. All the time we had a variation in the number of guests and I kept them informed about the situation. The agreement was that if we did not meet the number of guests of 150 people, we would pay for the empty portions at half price. We had also reserved rooms for a few nights before the wedding. With that in mind, I asked them if the number of guests falls below the expected according to the contract, they can meet us and we don't have to pay for empty portions. They told me to confirm first the number of guests who will come and then we will talk again. In the end, they didn't want to make any concessions and found a solution that would suit both parties, so we had to pay 13 empty portions at half price. I believe that when cooperation is made, there should be an understanding of contracts and terms, and not blindly stick to what suits one side, if we want to achieve being recommended by satisfied customers and our services used. We had our wedding in Denicija this summer and I need to give them credit for the food, service, and the venue. However, their negotiation skills are not present to meet the other party's needs at all. We had constant wobble with the number of guests before the wedding and I was always communicating it in advance with them. The agreement was to have at least 150 guests. We also had a few rooms booked in their hotel for our guests for a couple of nights before the wedding. Having this in mind I asked them if they could meet us half way and if we didn't have 150 guests if they could accommodate us by not having to pay for those people who couldn't make it. They told me to confirm the number of guests and we would talk again. At the end 13 of our planned guests couldn't make it for the wedding and the Management of Denicija did not have an ear for finding a common solution that will work for both parties, but we still had to pay half the price for the meal of the guests who could not make it. You agreed to that minimum, signed a contract and even though you didn't meet the minimum we allowed you to pay them at half price (we think that's correct from our side).
