Walked past and realized we had not eaten at Riaans place yet. Decided it will be the destination for brunch this very day and there was no better time than the presant. We browsed through the menu and decied on the Chicken bourekia and chips which was very well priced at R99.00 Victory, it was amazing to say the least. It was well cooked and the flavors where on paar. It was also a very generous portion that i as a well built man managed to just just finish. Atmosphere was ok nothing specifically amazing going on that day there however it was pleasant. Will definitely like to come back one evening with the wife on date night. Think that fountain will make for great Atmosphere. Well done Riaan and team. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: R 100–150 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Edited Tuesday 22/10/2024 Changed my review to 5 stars, after my complaint on Friday night. Received a friendly phone call from management, and I appreciate the apology and feedback. Review Friday 18/10/2024 Everything about this restaurant is usually fantastic, we enjoy the food, service and atmosphere. I’ve been a fan of this restaurant for the last 8 years, since living in Doringkloof. Tonight, Friday 18 October, myself, my husband and our two young daughters decided a Delizioso supper is in order. We arrived at 19:30, asked for a table of 4, only to be told the kitchen is closed already. The waiter called the manager. I didn’t get any of their names. I told the manager that I checked the website before coming, and they are open until 22:00. The manager says yes, the kitchen closes an hour beforehand. I said “but it’s 19:30?!” The manager says that they were quiet so they are closing early. So very disappointed. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

25 June'22. The food was seriously lovely, but we had to wait way over an hour for 6 meals. We eventually asked the waiter because people who were seated after us received their food before us. How does that happen. Our refreshments too just as long. This is a family restaurant where time takes a backseat...
