I had a good experience here with a brief business meeting, it was very quiet at the time. Waitress was very kind and friendly. Manager also came to check up on us. (Please just wait for us not to have a mouth full of food to respond) Very elegant and fancy setup in store. Im impressed with the food & drinks quality. Keep up the good work. Worst restaurant to order online. Will never eat there again. We placed an online order for delivery for the Tuesday pasta special. We paid around 17:59. We were aware of the 45 min waiting time and even added extra 10 min for it being month end and the special. Just after 19:00 I phoned to follow up regarding the order. I was then informed that my order has not left the store yet and that it would be on its way shortly. I expressed that this was unacceptable. I asked to speak to the manager and then informed him as well. I asked what would the compensation be? He then offered a 1.5l coke. I accepted the offer and asked if I needed to wait another hour whereby he then said no not an hour. Around 19:33 I phoned again and was informed the driver is still on his way. We were then asked to wait a further 7 min. Still no show of the driver. We have already paid online and then decided to get in the car and head to the mall at reds store to ask for a refund and make another plan for supper. When we stopped at the store around 19:50 only then the store called to inform me that the driver was at the gate. My husband then headed into the store to get the refund, which was given. During his time in the store he heard numerous customers complaining of service in the restaurant as well. This was unfortunately not the first time we had to wait. Something needs to be done to better service and delivery. Especially during peak times with specials and month end. My family and I had an absolutely fantastic time at Del Forno Mall@Reds and here is why we love it : Family-Friendly Atmosphere: From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating to our children, which made our dining experience stress-free and enjoyable. The manager and owner would come and check up on us . We hosted two birthdays there and booked a private area and the kids loved it here. Perfect for Couples: Despite being kid-friendly, the restaurant also caters perfectly to couples looking for a romantic night out. The ambiance was cozy yet vibrant, providing a great backdrop for a date night and they have this incredible special for date night which come with their in house wines for R349.00 per couple Always Something Special: We were pleasantly surprised by the variety of specials offered. It's clear that the chefs take pride in their craft, as each dish we tried was unique and delicious. Top-Notch Food: The food was simply outstanding. Every bite was full of flavor, and the presentation was impeccable. They truly elevate typical dishes to a gourmet level. Atmosphere Beyond Compare: The ambiance at Del Forno Mall@Reds is something special. Whether you’re seated indoors or out on the patio, the decor and lighting create a warm and inviting atmosphere that enhances the dining experience. Great Management and Service: The management and staff deserve high praise. They were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Overall, the Restaurant exceeded our expectations in every way possible. It’s rare to find a place that effortlessly caters to both families and couples without compromising on quality or atmosphere. We’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.
