What immediately distinguishes Decantus from any other wine shop or bar in the region is the sheer, extraordinary scope of its selection. This isn’t just a localized collection; it’s a true celebration of global viticulture. I spent a good twenty minutes simply absorbing the wall-to-wall offerings, finding bottles from every corner of the wine-producing map, from the expected giants to exciting, esoteric producers. A special mention must go to two regions they stock with incredible depth. The Italian collection is massive and thoughtful, offering everything from the heavy hitters in Tuscany and Piedmont to unique varietals from the south. Finding such a deep and curated choice of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc and Central Otago Pinot Noir, all the way here in Vilnius, speaks volumes about the team’s dedication and global reach. The selection of wines is superb, including Champagnes, Cava and Prosecco. Red and white wine tasting sessions are available and the menu extends to Israel, New Zealand and Australia, if antipodean grapes tickle your pallete. They also do a great local Lager too.
