We wanted to enjoy lunch at De Smakerij a few days ago. "Open from 8am", so that worked out well. When we got there, we saw that there were empty coffee cups on a few tables on the terrace. So indeed open (we thought). The door was closed and we didn't dare go in because of the aggressively barking dogs. We took a seat on the terrace and assumed that the owner would hear us because of the dogs. After quite some time, the owner drove up with the car and walked right past us without saying a word. The empty coffee cups will probably belong to the workers who are renovating in the adjacent building and other customers will probably not be wanted in this catering industry.

Yes, I saw that, but I wouldn't sit there out of politeness. As a courtesy, you would sit on the bench at the front of the terrace. And then eating the plate of pralines is UNHORED.
