I was lucky enough to have lunch at Trattoria da Sergio in Ponzano and I can say that I was pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is located in a quiet and easily accessible location, and has a large car park. The environment is welcoming and comfortable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. The menu is rich and varied, with fresh fish specialties and Italian cuisine. I started with an appetizer of excellent quality Parma ham. As a first course I chose a cuttlefish ink risotto, professionally creamed with an intense and strong flavour. For the second course I opted for grilled swordfish accompanied by crunchy vegetables. Tasty dish! All the dishes were prepared with the freshest, seasonal ingredients, and the taste was truly excellent. Particular appreciation goes to the open kitchen, which allows you to see the chefs at work and appreciate the care and passion with which they prepare the dishes. La Trattoria da Sergio is a restaurant that I highly recommend to all those who want to enjoy high quality cuisine in a welcoming and informal environment.
