EXCELLENT review and above expectations for the DInuoVO Engele restaurant in Merano. After reading a positive comment, I saw their proposal for Valentine's Day dinner and decided to give them a chance. I wanted to give it to my parents but, since the restaurant was in Merano and February 14th was a Tuesday, I asked them to bring everything forward to the previous weekend and even do it for lunch. I didn't expect such availability and courtesy from the staff in coming to meet us and giving us the opportunity to enjoy, at a different time from the one they established, a very high level lunch, which certainly involves a lot of work and the presence of raw materials details. The level of service and lunch were then phenomenal: the dishes, combinations and ingredients were of the highest quality, refined and elegant. My parents, who are quite demanding when it comes to gourmet food, were thrilled! The room is both rustic and modern, recently renovated but still in South Tyrolean style with wooden ceilings. Excellent wines and generally very honest prices. In addition to gourmet cuisine, they also prepare very special pizzas that are worth trying. In short, if you have the opportunity, go and eat at DInuoVo Engele in Merano! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €50–60
