Really great food. We did a quick google search to find a place for dinner and saw this restaurant just around the corner. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, the decor is crisp and Mediterranean minimal with classy touches. The service was impeccable but the food was the main attraction! We had an octopus starter that was sufficiently large enough to share followed by lobster pasta and then shrimp tempura which we also shared. This we followed with tiramisu. Each dish was superb and really excellent value for money. The food was fresh, tasty, perfect temperature and served just on time. A true gem of a restaurant. Crù Ittioteca is a modern seafood sanctuary on Ischia—minimal chic with crisp white interiors, deep ocean blues, and a breezy elegance that feels perfectly in tune with the island. We sat outside on our final night in Ischia, surrounded by couples and families, soaking in the understated beauty of this place. The Service was great— just the right amount of attention and relaxation: Laura, who grew up on and around Ischia and lived in the UK, guided us through the menu with a warm, bubbly yet polished touch. She was joined by a young gentleman and another stylish server who channeled a contemporary Frida Kahlo vibe—together, they created a seamless dining experience. In the kitchen, chef-owner Nunzio Calise and sous-chef Umberto craft plates that balance refinement and bold flavor. Standouts included tuna tartare with avocado, raw prawn risotto, crispy gamberini, and a rich tuna belly fusillini. The crudo is exceptional—bright, delicate, and prepared with an evident respect for the sea. And the FRIARELLI just WOW! Paired with two bottles of crisp white wine and the island’s salty evening air, the meal felt effortlessly luxurious.
