Staff is overall nice but I wouldn't say super friendly (there are a few stars there, mainly the cafe and deli). Meat section lacks in quality (beef especially) but meets the needs. Very clean, always organized and has pretty good hours.

REFUSED TO REFUND ME FOR RANCID NUTS. Bought nuts from their bulk section. Brought them home and found that they were rancid. Brought them back with the receipt and they refused to refund the purchase. No other grocery store in the city does this so I will not be going back there anymore. You guys make insane money, but you don't want to refund a 5 dollar bag of nuts. Ok.

I just need to get something off of my chest. I'm sure that everyone is aware of the grocery price crisis that we are all suffering from in this country, and considering the things that we have witnessed in the news of late with the price gouging and record profits reported from major grocery stores, I was very upset today with the way I myself was tricked and gouged. As I walked into this Country Grocer, there were 1/4 watermelons with a sign that said $1.97. I thought to myself," Hey, not bad! I'm getting one!" These were placed outside the main entrance, where many great deals are sometimes displayed. So as I'm checking out, it was over $5! On my way out, I checked again, thinking that I made a mistake. There it was $1.97, but on the bottom righthand corner in tiny letters was a , per pound symbol, half covered by the tiny clip holding the sign. It was obviously designed to trick the customer, no matter what they say. I don't know about you all, but I'm so tired of big, rich companies scamming my hard earned dollar, especially for food!
