I don't know why I made a reservation for this place. When we arrived at 8pm, there were no other customers. The server said we could sit anywhere, which we did. Then she ignored us. After about 5 minutes, I went up to her and asked, "Can we get service, please?" (i.e. how about water to start). She acted surprised that we were ready... what?! I asked about their wines. She knew nothing, and said she'd bring out her manager. It took him about 5 minutes as well. I guess he was busy, too, helping the zero other customers. Besides the poor service, the Pinotage wine that he recommended tasted cheap, despite being from Stellenbosch. The calamari and the chicken wings were mostly breading - like bar food. Just an awful experience. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

The service is so so so so so so so so sooo appalling and here I insert laughing emoji because it is actually comical. The view is absolutely incredible which is the only reason I have been as many times as I have. Every time I've been (which is several times this year) the whole place is completely empty. The reason I mention this is because I wanted to book a table for my birthday in March: Whoever responded to my email replied 'sorry we are fully booked.' I was appalled at this response: firstly, based on the data, it is UTTERLY IMPOSSIBLE that this was the case - nevermind that I've never witnessed more than 3-4 other individuals there but the restaurant is HUGE. What makes it more hilarious is that when I re-read my email I didn't even specify a time....The person who told me they were fully booked was basically telling me 'from open to COB we have no space for you or your patronage' (I am honestly laughing while writing this). A few days before the day they emailed saying 'we have space for you' so ended up having me party here.........the restaurant was empty except for us :''''D (and the service was terrible) Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
