I have eaten here twice while staying up the hill from Pimonte town centre. Once in the restaurant itself (well in the lovely tranquil courtyard outside the very nicely laid-out restaurant) and also in the main piazza down the hill where they will bring your food after you order it to you there from the kitchen. Despite what other reviews have said, it's a two minute walk, if that, to Joia itself up a fairly steep lane but you are in the hills above the beautiful Amalfi/Sorrento Coast so what do you expect? Stop whining! I had a burger both times, the first was with buffalo mozzarella, rocket and prosciutto. The second time was the 'Joia' which is like an English breakfast in a bun, with a fried egg and bacon and Lettuce with a lovely relish. Both of which were out of this world for taste and value for money. I'm also Coeliac so never eat burgers when I'm out at home in London, but Elisabetta the brilliant chef has gluten-free buns which is fantastic and having had gluten-free bread on prescription for nearly 30 years it was by far the best I've tasted. Thanks so much to Elisabetta and her Sister, Francesca, for two fantastic meals and also the young man who takes orders in the piazza and runs up and down the hill to get the food.....sorry I can't remember your name. Leave them a decent tip because they all thoroughly deserve it! A unique place, with top drawer food. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
