This was my first time eating at Chuck's Roadhouse Bar & Grill. I came for dinner with my family on Father's Day and the place was PACKED and noisy! Our server, Avery, was new(ish) and very polite and eager to please. I started my meal by ordering a diet coke. Unfortunately, the restaurant had run out due to the sheer volume of customers! I found out at the end of our meal that the Manager had driven to another location (out of Windsor) to pick up a cylinder. That's what I call dedication! Next, we ordered the Garlic Pan Bread to be shared. We ordered it without cheese but it came with cheese so we ordered a second order and stressed the NO CHEESE. This one came out as ordered. (note: the Manager ended up comping the appetizers). Next, I ordered the 12oz. Ribeye Steak (med/well) with corn and mashed potatoes. When the food finally arrived, (the kitchen was really busy) my steak and potatoes were cold. I ate them anyway because I was hungry. The steak was done to perfection, (other than the temperature) so I wasn't too disappointed. I would definitely come here to eat again - just not on a busy occasion or holiday. I wish Avery much success in her job!
