While the food itself was top notch, everything else could not have been worse.
Ambiance and presentation is everything in a restaurant.

We were given melamine plastic plates to eat on.
A fork, but no knife.
One napkin per person, that was one ply and the size of 2 squares of toilet paper.
Drinks , even tea, was served in plastic containers.
Bottled water, no glasses.
Our waiter brought one dish of food 40 minutes before he brought out anything else.
He kept asking when did we want our drinks.
When the other food arrived, the first dish of food was cold.

As I said, the food was delicious and tender.
But the rest of the experience was unacceptable.

Not recommending this branch of this chain of restaurants.

Extremely disappointed with my order placed on 29th SEP 2022. The butter naan and tandoori rotis were like stone. The kofta curry balls were extremely hard and we could not even bite into them.I took pictures and videos of the same . I am food lover and always love to explore new restaurants in the area. Your food was very disappointing. I wanted to give my honest feedback as a customer. This left a bad taste and i may never return to your restaurant. unless you change the way your food is being cooked.
Hope you consider my comments seriously and make the necessary changes, else you may lose more customers like me.

Today We decided to go to Chowrasta Indian Cuisine Oshawa. I always do my review based on three things 1 ) Food taste 2) customer service 3) Atmosphere bonus point for H&S1 )Food, how do I say this ??? We didn’t get any food ? Yes it’s true we went to a sound Indian restaurant and called the restaurant. Restaurant was not able to make any Dosa !!! How is this possible ? Very disappointed with the visit today. Yes we went on dinner time around 7 30 in evening. Yea we called before we went !!!! Yes there is a huge Dosa section in the menu. Very Disappointed!!!!!2) customer service, she was very friendly and apologized a 100 times. It’s not servers fault. There was no Dosa !!!3) it’s a huge place. As we do not have all the accompaniments at this moment we decided not to serve dosa’s as it would be incomplete with out it. Please visit us again and give us a chance to change your experience.
