Le cadre et la décoration sont très beaux. Le service très bien. La nourriture est bonne mais ils servent des quantités pour nourrir des enfants... Les plats sont radins. Nous avons passé un agréable moment pour le déjeuner. Le cadre est magnifique, les plats étaient bons, nous n’avons rien laissé. Le serveur parlait français ce qui a facilité la communication. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €30–40

I live a few km from Bordighera and have been frequenting the seafront for years. After taking a motorbike ride with my son I stop at the Chica Loca to have a drink and enjoy the wonderful view of the sunset. The first very young waiter brings us drinks and, a little embarrassed, asks us to pay for the drinks immediately, as if I could run away with my 8 year old son without paying. But the best was yet to come. Still thirsty, we order another round and ask a second waiter who is as young as the previous one. This guy even before taking the order asks us: "but have you paid for the first drink?". In disbelief at how incompetent and rude a novice waiter can be, I reply; "But aren't you talking to your colleague?" To which the brilliant waiter responds negatively, smiling at a situation that was comical only for him, but tragically embarrassing for us. I avoid the usual tirade about the progressive worsening of service in Liguria, so dear to many foreigners. I limit myself to just one consideration: has Bordighera really sunk so low that it cannot afford professional waiters or at least a chef de rang who keeps them in line and trains them during the summer season? Sin. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5
