Oh, dear Checkers, my beloved shopping destination where I've happily spent thousands! Today, while spending another R1900, I ventured to the take-away section for some chicken and salad. But oh, the horror! The chicken, priced as if it were cooked by a gourmet chef, was drier than the Sahara desert. It was so overcooked that I could have used the drumstick for self-defense instead of a meal. Alas, it ended up in the bin. Please, oh please, enlighten your staff on the art of cooking chicken. It's not rocket science, after all. This level of culinary catastrophe is truly unacceptable!

Very disgusted! I bought a packet of chickenbreast there and when I opened it, it was rotten. This has happened to me multiple times, when I'm buying meat from al the checkers stores in George. Your butchery departments need beter management and hygiene ! Will never buy from you again.

Hi there I always loved going to 'Checkers' at Paddagat Centre (George). I decided to shop online, the order I placed was not as I asked and I replied to them and didn't receive any feedback so days past so 'I left it'. That same week I went to the same 'Checkers' and I asked for the product I want to use 'Chocolate mousse' so 2 of their staff told me that they decided to discontinue selling it. I was very disappointed because I usually bought their 'Fair Cape Chocolate Mousse' so the staff insisted the only option now is PNP. This week after that disappointing feedback from their staff I decided to place an online order again to see if they improved but it was worse, I waited an hour and 15 min then I decided to add a complaint before they replied back. 'They won't be able to make the delivery to me and refund me back. I was furious because my neighbour in front of me bought her groceries from the same store and received it in 20 min Placing an order 30 min after me.
