I recently moved to the area and I've always been a fan of Spur. It's my go to franchise. So when I discovered Chatoga Spur, I was ecstatic. However, this quickly turned sour. I expected the atmosphere to be relaxed and slightly noisy, the perfect Spur experience, with the occasional birthday song. However, the place was filled with kids working as waiters, which I guess isn't a problem, until they're serving alcohol... Moreover, the noise they produced and just the overall busyness with them running around really ruins the experience. I don't mind students doing this to raise funds and I commend Chatoga Spur for enabling students to raise funds in this manner. However, strict processes and rules need to be implemented and enforced in these matters. Majority of the food was absolutely amazing. One of the reasons I love Spur. However, every bite of my beef burger contained gristle, making it a rather distasteful main. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: R 250–300 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2
