It’s a nice tour if you haven’t been to a winery before, but it wouldn’t be my first choice in St Emilion. The wine is very embodied (make sure it’s your taste before you go) and the atmosphere is cozy and friendly, however, it’s a simple tour where you will see wine barrels and taste Merlot.

Thank you for your feedback. We're happy to hear that you enjoyed the cozy and friendly atmosphere of our estate. Just to clarify, our wines are not only made with Merlot. While it's an important grape in Saint-Émilion, all of our wines are blends, with a high percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon in Château La Croizille. We hope to welcome you back soon to explore more of what our wines have to offer.

A really pretty little tasting room with a wine bar where you can buy a glass of wine, overlooking the vineyards! Nice to find a chateau where you can just buy a glass of wine and not have to do a wine tour or tasting!

Nice visit, very informative and attentive guide. Unfortunately it was raining when we were there so I could just guess/hope that under normal weather conditions the visit also includes a bit of a walk in vineyard. I know it’s a kind of business for the owners to allow/organise these visits but I still want to emphasise how much I appreciated that we could visit this place (actually two chateaus next to each other) as there are many others where simple tourists can’t even dream of visiting. Wine tasting was also very nice and informative, had to realise again - what I always knew;) - that these wines are pretty overpriced thanks/due to their reputation, but hey, it’s the capital of wine ;) All in all, much appreciated, nice visit
