The food was amazing! I brought take out home for my husband and he said it was the best Lao food he has had. I’ll need to bring him with me here so he can try it fresh! The service my server Tim provided for our party was beyond my expectations! He was knowledgeable, entertaining and engaging with our party. He went above and beyond. Good customer care is hard to come by these days! If you want to be taken care of and have delicious food, you should dine here! Delicious food. We started with the duck wing special and crispy pork spring rolls. We also ordered Singapore noodles spicy and crispy duck w noodles. Both were excellent. Server was great and the food came out so fast. Can't wait to go back. Update since your response:. You should do some of your own research if you plan to run a restaurant. Different types of food poisoning are transmitted in different ways, with varied timeframes for the person to get sick. For example, Staphylococcal food poisoning is found in foods handled by people carrying Staphylococcus aureus (often on their skin/nose) and not cooked afterward. Meaning, you wouldn’t find it on your ingredients that you “checked afterwards” and it is up to which meals leave your kitchen that are contaminated, meaning it wouldn’t be every single one. On the phone, I rarely if ever complain. I was thrown off by your lack of accountability in your response and I did not know how to even respond to you. I was told I will instead get special treatment next time I come in to order. If it wasn’t clear already, I have no intention to dine here again. Really appreciate the baseless corrections to my review you offered though. If serious consequences to your business is a top level concern to you, one would think you’d have taken some time to do your own research before offering a petty response to regular customers who have 0 reason to leave a negative impact on your business. My friends and I went to Champa Kitchen which we’ve always enjoyed for the atmosphere and vibes. The food tasted great at first — until all of us ended up with severe food poisoning after eating the red Thai curry and coconut chicken soup. When I called the restaurant to inform them, I was met with an extremely unprofessional response. I was told it was “impossible” for it to be food poisoning and was essentially called a liar instead of being shown any concern. The complete lack of accountability and empathy was shocking. Hi Sierra, we're sorry you were sick.Let me correct a few things about your review:When you called in within 20 mins of leaving and left a message that you had food poisoning, we immediately checked all ingredients and found no issues. We also sold many of those same dishes that day and had no reports of any additional issues.When speaking on the phone you were specifically asked what we could do to resolve the situation to your satisfaction. You're response "You just wanted us to know". When you claimed food poisoning, we reitterated what public health told us; symptoms of food poinoning arise after few hours. As this is a serious allegation that can have serious consequences to our business, can you please provide the doctor's information that diagnosed you so we can follow up.Thanks and we hope you're feeling better.Regards,Champa Kitchen team
