All 5 star reviews are well deserved. Everything was delicious, from the house starter to the first courses, the best ever farmer's filejia, pepper sauce and ndujia. Top tiramisu and caramel cheesecake. Perfect service.. Service: 5 Location: 5

the farmer's house is located away from the tourist confusion in a very pleasant setting in the countryside. The house starter is excellent as is the homemade pasta made by the cook, the fileja is truly excellent if you want to try a typical Calabrian pasta. The side dishes are also excellent, all the vegetables are home-grown! Special mention for the peppers with potatoes! Really helpful and courteous service. There are also apartments and a swimming pool on the farm, we will definitely return and recommend it to everyone. Service: 5

Casa del Contadino is an oasis of calm, peace and beauty. Every year in July we return to this wonderful place that Laura and Daniele's families built on their grandfather Pietro's property. We spend relaxing days: In the morning we have cappucino and cornetto with homemade fig jam, then we jump into the cool water of the pool, at lunchtime we eat fresh tomatoes with cipolla di Tropea and basil from grandmother's garden under the shady pergola in front of our house, and we drive a few Hours down to the sea, which is only 5-10 minutes away by car. Then we admire the fantastic sunset of the Costa Viola and reserve a table with Laura, where we later enjoy her local specialties, which Daniele serves us. The atmosphere is familiar and warm and yet you can enjoy peace and intimacy. If something is rarely broken, it is repaired immediately. Everything is very clean and well maintained. We read our books under the fig tree, a fresh breeze cools our skin and somewhere in the distance the chickens cluck. Just wonderful! Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5
