I've been eating here since the early 90's back in the day that they had the buffet, later they had dine in, takeout and delivery. Unfortunately now they only have the takeout option. We moved away from Welland about 25 years ago and recently moved back. Tried many places in the western part of the GTA: Mississauga, Brampton, Milton and Acton but must say that no other place had Chinese food as tasty as the Canton House. Over the past 3 decades the food remains very consistent. Definitely the best Chinese food I've ever had. Only complaint I have is related to the hours of operations and also there have been at least a couple of lengthy closures in the past years. It would be nice to have earlier opening hours at least on weekends. Also the delivery option would be much appreciated. Their black pepper chicken is absolutely amazing and nobody can make them like they do. Hope that with the revival of Welland this place can return to the way it used to operate back in the day. Great staff, awesome prices and delicious food. Can't be beat. 1 star for atmosphere due to the fact that u can no longer dine inside. Take out only Service: Takeaway Meal type: Other Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1 Recommended dishes: Chicken Fried Rice
