Not simply a wine shop or wine bar - Cantine St. Ambroeus is more like a temple dedicated to the art of artisanal Italian winemaking. Marco has an uncanny ability to source the absolute best of Natural / Low Intervention / Biodynamic / Organic wines from all around Italy, with a massive selection covering floor to ceiling in his library. Every single time I have asked for a wine pairing to something I'll be cooking at home, it has been 100% spot on, even if I have come with highly specific geografical requests - Marco always manage to meet me. As you can hopefully tell by now - this place is an absolut must visit if you have any sort of interest in wine!
