A warm, charming cantina offering the best of Frascati. The hosts Antonio and Camilla will guide you through the wine list and menu, and the history of this family-owned restaurant. We very much enjoyed the cuvee Camilla and, of course, the carbonara. We will be back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A group of 12 rugby supporters popped our heads around the door of this wonderful establishment to discover an absolute gem. The welcome was amazing with such fun and humour but that’s not where this tale ends! Antonio is an amazing ambassador for his country and Frascati. This man makes his own wine, which is simply delicious but he took an interest in a latter booking we had and correctly suggested our choice might be a little too adventurous for some. (The recommendation we’d been given specialised in offal!) Antonio could have suggested we eat with him but said his restaurant had a narrow set menu, which for a large group with some fussy folk again offered limited choice. Instead, he suggested, called and reserved another fabulous restaurant (Al 19). We returned to Cantina Bonasera after our meal and laughed our way through the remainder of the evening! None of us will ever forget the sublime hospitality provided by Antonio, his wife and their amazing staff. Grazie mille - we will return Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
