An outrage! If you choose a vegetarian restaurant for a family gathering, you can look forward to a healthy, freshly prepared and attractive meal. The contact with the chef and head of the canape over the phone was very friendly and accommodating, especially since he emphasized that he also takes vegans into consideration and changes his dishes accordingly. We came to a cold restaurant where we initially sat with our coats on and adjusted the heating ourselves. Unfortunately, the evening got off to an uncomfortable start. We were able to order the drinks after half an hour from a waitress who obviously didn't know the menu and had very little experience. After about an hour we got something to drink. This is where we should have left the restaurant. We waited patiently and with humor and asked ourselves if we could finally order our food. If we had any questions about the food, no information could be given. We ordered starters and main courses with the request that the vegan guests be taken into account. After almost two hours the "greeting from the kitchen" came: slices of brown bread (Aldi?) and a mango curry cream (dm?) with two slices of cucumber and two slices of carrot. This is where we should have finally left! The long-awaited starter was incomplete (no olives, no flatbread, no sauce ordered for the spring rolls), the mixed starter platter came for four people instead of six and was covered in a herb quark mixture, so that no vegan wanted to eat anything. Why haven't we finally left the restaurant? The main courses arrived. Huge portions consisting of either completely over-salted or completely unseasoned food, mushy potatoes, spaetzle that were in the pasta water, indefinable dishes that were covered in tomato paste, undercooked vegetables (aubergine in particular doesn't taste like that at all). We sent for the cook. He just reacted angrily, felt we were too critical (we also noticed at the neighboring table that full plates were returned with complaints), he emphasized that he was alone in the kitchen and that the oven wasn't working properly. It was just embarrassing and beyond bad! Operation, service, food - everything was a huge disaster and an outrage. You can talk to guests about anything. But pretending to be the professional while denying all of the restaurant's visible and palpable problems and weaknesses is a disgrace. We paid for the drinks and the bad appetizers, left the full plates behind and left the restaurant. I have never experienced anything so bad and can only advise against eating here. I'm still angry today and would prefer not to give a single star. My verdict: an outrage and absolutely bad!!! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

I've been vegetarian my whole life and vegan for 5 years and I'm always really happy about restaurants that think about it. Unfortunately, this restaurant puts vegetarian food in a completely wrong light. We have reserved a table for 8 people on Saturdays for a birthday. When we arrived the restaurant was quite empty, but we still had to wait half an hour before we could even place our drink order. Another half hour passed until our food order was taken when we asked. Questions about the dishes could not be answered and the fact that there were 2 vegans was not even addressed. This led to a half-complete round of appetizers in which I was able to fish vegetables from the plate around a quark sauce, which instead of serving 6 people as ordered, arrived for 4 people as stated on the menu. The main courses came after 2 hours. There were significant deficiencies in 6 out of 8 meals. Vegetable skewers with zucchini and eggplant were raw, spaetzle was floating in water on the plate, fried potatoes were falling apart, some were oversalted and others were unseasoned. When I asked to speak to the boss, the cook came out of the kitchen and after my request for a solution to the problems described, he angrily said that he was alone, that the oven kept going off and that we were the only ones complaining here All the other guests were happy (which wasn't true either, as we had previously heard plates being returned at the neighboring table). Finally we returned the full plates and the evening was over. Anyone who enjoys cooking would have been able to cook the dishes better. I worked in the catering industry myself for many years. If you don't have staff to serve your guests, you have to reject reservations, reduce the menu and at least inform the guests about any longer waiting times. I really don't like to complain because it makes me uncomfortable, but that was really an imposition and not worth a cent. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
