We went to Calistos yesterday for our end of year staff function. Johnathan the manger was very accommodating and made sure our experience was memorable. Bridget was a wonderful and friendly waitress! The food was prepared to perfection and even with the large amount of orders, the food came out promptly. Thank you for everything! Went to Silverstar Casino yesterday with family members for a birthday. We decided to eat at Calistos for the first time as I've heard from friends how great the food is. Unfortunately my experience wasn't great at all. I ordered the Seafood platter for one. They say on the menu 1x hake, recieved half a piece of hake. The mussel sauce was very bland as per the rest of the meal. I asked for tartar sauce, what I received was a tasteless white sauce with green and orange bits in, it looked like sandwich spread...definitely not tartar sauce. Surely you sell fish but no tartar sauce to complement the dish. And how can your chef not know how to make tartar sauce. If you need a tartar sauce recipe try Google, lots of recipes. Also asked for a bit of garlic, recieved it in a gravy tray...wtf is that. OB offer little containers of chilli, garlic and an awesome tartar sauce with their meals. There was just no care prepering this meal. This was by far the worst platter I've ever had. Never again.
