Tanya made the cake for my wedding and it was everything my wife and I could have dreamed of. Tanya was friendly, knowledgeable, and flexible throughout the entire process and we couldn’t be happier with the end result. Countless guests complimented the taste as well as the presentation. The cake absolutely capped off a perfect evening! P.S. The cake pops are also delicious!!!

A neighbour of mine recommended this place, so I thought I’d give it a try. I've been to this shop once and the first thing she gave me was attitude. Maybe this is just how she is, but I'm sure her baked good are delicious; however, spend your money supporting another place who actually appreciates your business (and whose products are probably equally delicious).

I called to inquire about a custom cake, to which I have never ordered before. The person who answered the phone was not at all friendly and the conversation was very short and awkward. I called to inquire about the price ranges and how ordering a custom cake would work and there was dead silence on the phone... the interaction was very uncomfortable and she spoke to me as if she was doing me a favor... hello?? you have a potential customer on the phone... maybe it would be in your best interest to speak to them differently... I cannot speak to how their product turns out as needless to say, I did not proceed with ordering from Cakes by Tanya. If you're looking for a pleasant and friendly cake-ordering experience, I absolutely do not recommend calling this place.
