Cake Matters is an artisanal Bakery and Cake Shop located in Edgemead, Cape Town.

Situated within this beautiful leafy green suburb, we take inspiration from the nature around us to create beautiful works of
edible art.

Our delicious cakes and bakes are the perfect accompaniment to any celebration, no matter how big or small.

Cake Matters always has freshly made cupcakes available to purchase in store and the Owner, Heather-Lee, is ready to meet with you to discuss and create your delicious centerpiece.

At Cake Matters, the quality and delectability (I’m sure that this is real word…) of our products is of paramount importance to us. We use only the freshest and finest of ingredients, we do not mass produce our products, and all of our edible decorations are lovingly hand-crafted by our talented staff. This is why we ask for at least 5 days in which to plan and create your Yummy Celebration Cake.
