On vous recommande fortement de visiter Colonna di Sant'Oronzo et Caffè Alvino. Le secret de la réussite de ce café est des tartes cuites à la perfection. Un gelato délicieux est le plat le plus savoureux. Caffè Alvino propose un cordial délicieux parmi ses boissons. Beaucoup de visiteurs commandent un espresso glacé immense.

Historic location and fixed point for walks in Lecce, both for tourists and locals, in an excellent position (almost...inside the amphitheatre!). However, I cannot help but point out a product that greatly disappointed my palate and which I hope can be improved for the good name of Caffè Alvino edi Catamo: the gluten-free pasticciotto. They offer it as a "vegan pasticciotto" (the reason for this mix is unknown) for €3 but.... it is almost inedible: I found the cream to have a slightly acidic taste and also the shortcrust pastry not very inviting. It may have been an unfortunate case, mine, but with all the competitors offering high quality gluten-free products, I think that in the future at Alvino I will limit myself to just having a coffee, avoiding the "vegan pasticciotto".
