Avons passé une excellente soirée avec un repas soigné, tout cela servi avec sourire et professionnalisme. Kid-friendliness: Dispo: chaise haute, crayons, bloc papier,... Très bonne viande et pommes allumettes extraordinaires. Service très sympa! Les vins sont excellents et permis les moins chers de Genève, réservation obligatoire car toujours complet! Vivement conseillé.

We just held a large private event at Café Restaurant des Voyageurs this afternoon (for 50 people). I would give more than 5 stars if I could! David and the entire team was a dream to work with! We didn't hear the word 'No' from them throughout the entire planning process. No matter what we asked or needed, the answer was always, 'Yes, yes, we can do it, no problem!' They created a beautiful and varied menu for 70 CHF/pp (options: veal shoulder, filets de perch or risotto with aragula). The starter salads were delicious (they also offered a meat terrine) and very substantial, and the same for the main plates and dessert (apple tart or panna cotta). Plus they kindly provided to-go boxes for those who couldn't finish their meals. The Prosecco was delicious and they were very generous with the red and white wine. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and welcoming, the service was excellent and seamless. We had several speakers and the staff took care to work quietly/pause so that we could focus our attention on them. Highly recommend booking this venue for your next event, and/or for going there for a beautiful lunch or dinner. Vegetarian options: The vegetarian risotto was delicious. They are known for their risotto and for good reason. Huge portions and they offered seconds! Dietary restrictions: We had a couple of dietary restrictions (gluten and lactose free, no sauce on the veal or salad dressing) that the restaurant was happy to accommodate. Parking: Couldn't be easier to access the restaurant. Right at the Gare des Eaux-Vives tram stop on the 12 and 17, and the CEVA train station, bus 11, etc. Huge parking garage under the Gare and from there you just walk 10 seconds across the street. It was raining today so even more convenient to have such proximity.
