Après une bonne marche aux alentours de Historische Altstadt Kirchheim unter Teck, beaucoup de visiteurs s'arrêtent dans ce café. La cuisine allemande créée par un chef populaire est magnifique ici. Entire menu gluten free. We spontaneously came over with 11 people and we all had a delicious meal. Suitable for celiac disease! Disappointing experience – not recommended! We went to Café Tass for breakfast today and unfortunately the visit was a big disappointment. As soon as we entered the café, we were not greeted in a friendly manner, but rather had the feeling that we were unwelcome because the staff seemed stressed. Then we had to wait 20 minutes for our drinks and then another 30 minutes for the food. That's just too long. Additionally we ordered scrambled eggs but received an omelette. When we asked, a gentleman, presumably the owner, explained to us in a haughty tone that what we received was scrambled eggs - they had been scrambled beforehand and then put into the pan. This is obviously an omelet, and his rude response was anything but customer-oriented. The atmosphere was unpleasant from the start, as the same gentleman was already in a bad mood and was loudly upset about guests wanting take-away. The quality of the food also left a lot to be desired: the radishes were dirty, the cucumbers and radishes were not cut into bite-sized pieces, and the lettuce leaf for decoration was carelessly torn off. The butter just sat on top of the vegetables, which wasn't appetizing. The American breakfast was dry toast without butter or margarine. Particularly strange was the fruit muesli served with milk and oatmeal. The fruit was floating in the milk, which not only looked unappetizing, but also didn't taste good with the rest of the breakfast. Used dishes were piled up on the neighboring table, which didn't leave a good impression. The waitress also spilled some coffee and simply put the napkins next to it without cleaning the stain or putting them under the cup. Overall, we had the feeling that not much value was placed on the guests and their satisfaction here. If these things had taken place individually we might have turned a blind eye, but together they left us completely dissatisfied. We definitely won't recommend this cafe. What is particularly noticeable is that other guests have already written negative reviews, and the response is always an impersonal “Thank you for the review” or another ironic remark. During our visit today we noticed that despite the negative feedback nothing has changed. This suggests that the owner doesn't really care about providing guests with a nice experience. A pity! Unfortunately we cannot recommend this restaurant. Although my companion has already written a review for this café, I would also like to share my impressions of this establishment. Let's get straight to the negative part. The supposed owner was extremely unfriendly. At the beginning he made negative comments about other guests who wanted to take their dessert home and did so in an unprofessional manner in front of other customers. We had to wait 50 minutes for our food and 20 minutes for our drinks. It also took 15 minutes before we were even served. The wait would have been understandable if the restaurant had been busy, but most of the guests seemed to have already been served and our ordering wasn't particularly fussy. Now to my personal experience with the owner. I ordered an American breakfast with scrambled eggs, baked beans and toast. As you can see from the attached pictures, in my opinion there was no scrambled eggs but an omelette. When I asked if it was an omelette, the owner replied: "What did you expect, it's scrambled eggs." When I replied that it looked like an omelet, I was told in an unfriendly tone that they had scrambled eggs looks like this. The quality of the food was mediocre and the price was not at all justified. The staff generally showed little effort to provide guests with the best possible experience. The exception here is our waitress, who has obviously not been working in this job for long, but has tried very hard. In addition, most of the tables inside were full of used dishes, which can be seen in the attached pictures. As we left the restaurant, the owner shouted something about “American breakfast”. I couldn't understand whether this was directed at me or expressed general dissatisfaction. The only positive thing to note is that the latte macchiato was somewhat enjoyable and the sparkling wine tasted like sparkling wine. Her order was two breakfasts an American breakfast bacon with scrambled eggs baked beans and toast, second breakfast a summer breakfast with fruit granola, fruit glass and herb scrambled eggs. Your request: You ordered scrambled eggs and not an omelette. Since an omelette is a scrambled egg that is not scrambled in one piece and is considered an American breakfast. If something has been served like this for 25 years, then you complain without any complaints, so it is necessary on your part to request a special preparation in advance. I don't have the words to attack a bite-sized cucumber, and so on. I could refute all but one accusation because it's only half the truth. Only the used dishes on the next table are bad, but this is due to the sick staff. One thing is clear: 90% of the morning went great, but when guests complain that scrambled eggs/omelettes are not torn and then make an arrogant review on Goole, then I soon no longer feel like entertaining these guests.
