The Café Tamche is an original enrichment of the otherwise quite rigid inner Waldstrasse district. After a few initial difficulties with spontaneous closing times and a limited range, the café is now open from breakfast to coffee time and serves a mixture of hipster classics such as shakshuka and Uyghur specialties such as saffron milk tea. When it's quiet, the service comes along and is friendly and competent. Unfortunately, we had to wait a long time for service at lunchtime, when you only have a short time during the week. But that is offset by the quality of the food. Everything is of high quality and mostly freshly prepared. You should try the Uyghur specialties in particular. The shakshuka we had yesterday was a bit runny and lacking in flavor. The facility is very nice. The back wall of the café with an exciting color gradient radiates a feel-good atmosphere. Small works of art with a touch of Uyghur are not tourist folklore at all, but seem well dosed and placed in exactly the right place. We hope the tamche can establish itself firmly. The Waldstrasse district needs such relaxed places where it's not just about seeing and being seen. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
