Would you like it to be a little more expensive??? I would have been happy to ask this question in advance when purchasing the Advent calendar from the Plaisir coffee manufacturer. First of all, I would like to say that I am happy to pay more if I get good quality coffee at fair conditions (that has been the incentive to buy from Café Plaisir so far). I also thought it was a great idea to be able to try out many different varieties... No sooner said than done and I pre-ordered the Advent calendar for the proud price of €79.90, which was advertised as containing very expensive types of coffee that, among other things, cost well over €100 per kilo. Finally picked up the beautiful, colorfully printed calendar made of papier-mâché on November 16th, 2022... Café Plaisir kindly writes the kilo prices per type of coffee and door on the back of the calendar, so that subtle and mathematically gifted customers can determine that there is a total value in the deceptive package of not quite 32 €?! So I'm wondering where the remaining €48 is? Unfortunately, shaking vigorously didn't help, so I rang the bell at Café Plaisir. It was pointed out that the 40g per door had to be packaged individually and this involved greater effort and higher costs. In addition, it is not a large company that can rely on automated processes. And anyway, I'm the first to complain about the actually reasonable price. I got in touch with my request for a return within 14 days, but the calendar could no longer be delivered to the customer - so unfortunately there is nothing they can do for me. The bottom line is that the Advent calendar contains fair trade coffee that is passed on to the end consumer at unfair prices. I think this tiny company, which packs each coffee bean individually, is more concerned with the distribution of its regular coffee products in its cafés, Rewe markets and Globus branches than with the small customer who would like to enjoy good coffee Unfortunately, I can't pay more than twice the regular price of coffee. Fortunately, there are now a large number of manufacturers who, in addition to fair cultivation and production, also strive for fair sales :) Service: Take out Meal type: Other
