Cafe Palermo offers a decent brunch buffet for 69kr (59kr for students), but it's nothing spectacular. It's a good place to go if you want something pretty cheap for breakfast the day after you've been out too late having beers with friends. The quality of the food is as you'd expect for 69kr but they selection is better than I guessed it would be. There was pancakes, eggs, quiche, bacon, sausage, other meats, salad bar, variety of breads, fruits, yogurt, etc - everything that normally comes on a Danish breakfast buffet. Even though it wasn't that crowded they did make sure the buffet had fresh food all the time. Although the price of the buffet is cheap the prices for the drinks are very high. A water is around 30kr, coffee around 40-50kr. I've heard this is quite normal though for a cafe located in a somewhat touristy area in Copenhagen, but it was the first time I had experienced such high drink prices so I was a little shocked. The cafe offers a nice view of Kultorvet, especially if you sit by the windows on the second floor. Overall we had a nice experience and the staff was extremely nice and friendly. I may go back again because I do feel like the buffet is a good value for the price, but it's not my top breakfast place in the city.
