The waiter informed you that we do not allow laptops between 12pm and 2pm as this is our busy time when people want to sit and eat lunch. You must have misunderstood her, as you said to me you thought you could sit until 2pm on your laptop. You are a foreigner, so it is understandable that you did not understand the waiter correctly. I very nicely and politely explained it must have been a misunderstanding and I’m terribly sorry, and because of the bad weather we have very limited seating. Clearly we are a restaurant and we make our money from serving food. We cannot have a shop full of people sitting on their laptops as we will lose business. I think it is unfair and unreasonable of you to accuse us of being rude when at no time was I rude to you. You, in fact were very rude to me, by refusing to look at me when I was speaking to you, as you just continued to work on your laptop. Any reasonable and respectful person would understand this very simple rule we have to enforce. If this is your attitude then you are not welcome in our lovely, friendly and warm restaurant again as clearly you have no respect for our business. Regards Debbie Wynne More
