The most disgusting service I have ever encountered in my life. Fortunately, I didn’t have to try the food there because of the boorish attitude of the staff. My fiancé and I were passing through Sochi in September and decided to spend a romantic evening in a restaurant by the sea, relax and eat fresh seafood (as we hoped). There are many establishments on the embankment. While we were walking, we bought ice cream. When we arrived at this, excuse me, “restaurant,” the hostess looked at us with a contemptuous look and asked if we had reserved a table. We answered no. As if doing us a favor, he led us to a table (after sitting down, we realized that there was a well-known sanitary facility nearby) and said that they closed at 22.00 (it was about 20.00). The menu was brought to us only after 20 minutes (and then after a reminder), we were going to place a good order, but for half an hour they didn’t come to us. We never heard an apology from the hostesses for the disgusting service. We walked a little further and had a wonderful seafood dinner at the neighboring SeaZone, where we were greeted warmly, given tables to choose from, although there were also a lot of people there, and fed deliciously. Moreover, unlike the disgusting Delmar, the napkins there are not disposable, like in a cheap eatery, but made of cloth. And while the Delmar employees practically ruined our evening, their neighbors saved it. Especially in such contrast. There was no time to write a review right away, but the management of Delmar should reconsider the policy of communication between its staff and clients.
