Very nice place and quite. The perfect place to just relax and read a book or talk to a friend. The service is excellent, and the food and coffee is even better. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: R 50–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Update after comments from Café Cozies: 1. We had ample time to scrutinise the menu. 2. If you put the menu down, it means you are ready to be served. To then wait while there are no other customers is not acceptable. 3. The fact that we left was a result of poor seating arrangement at floor level (I cannot climb steep stairs), a very iffish/poor menu and not being attended to after the menues were put down. 4. You mention good facilities upstairs but this is not accessable to people with medical conditions. They have to be seated in your cheap seats? Inside downstairs is cramped and the area adjacent is clearly part of the old structure with poor quality finishes and tiles which give the impression of being dirty. Not inviting at all. We travel A LOT and we see both good and bad. Your place (downstairs) certainly falls under the latter. We left before ordering. This is exactly the kind of coffee shop/restautant I/we do not like. Limited menue. The place is simply not "nice". Definately not suitable for lunch. The two tables downstairs where we were seated are basically in the walkway to the till! I can not recommend the place. I guess if you just want coffee with a slice of cake at 10:00 in the morning it should get 2 or maybe three stars. Maybe. Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1

Good day Sir, Thank you for your review. Customer service is very important to us and your comments were duly considered. Kindly allow us to reply with some facts that will reflect an accurate view of your experience. Your wife and yourself were welcomed into our coffee shop and you decided not to be seated in our lovely and spacious loft, as you didn't prefer the stairs. That is a personal choice, which we respect. However, you are not entitled to rate our service whatsoever - the reason being that you left before ordering. We pride ourselves in providing a delightful experience with a variety of food and drink options available on our menu. You probably didn't take the time to read the entire menu. Unfortunately.
