Hi Sara - Cynthia actually messaged me right after you'd been in, so were expecting this. You asked for soft buns, she made a recommendation and you decided you wanted something else. She bagged those and she just wanted to advise you that they would be more crusty than what you had advised your preferences were. If you don't want our recommendations, it's ok not to ask for them. We are only going to do our best to recommend the products that we feel will most closely meet your request. Cynthia is one of the kindest, sweetest humans that work in the bakery and is consistently thanked for her gentle disposition. I realize not everyone gets everyone, but to publicly call someone out when you could easily pick up the phone to make your complaint, is not wanting to give someone feedback to improve, it is an attempt at public humiliation. She was trying to meet your needs and I'm sorry you feel she fell short, I can assure you, she only has good intentions. She deals with about 500 customers a week and has worked for me for over 2yrs.. That's a lot of customers that aren't giving her a 1*. Your profile indicates you only give 1* reviews, perhaps meeting your expectations is something no retailer/customer service provider can do. Hi R.. Thanks for the review.. sorry you're not a COBS recipe fan.. as you mentioned folks normally rave about us. As we are individually owned franchises, the recipes are standard, but I hire my staff, so I'll take this as a 5* based on what I can control. I am super proud of my team, especially during this incredibly busy Thanksgiving weekend. They'll feel bad someone didn't love all their hard work and effort, but hey, we work in customer service, we are kind of used to that :) Sorry about the cheese pull apart - as the cheese is worked throughout the dough - it will also be on the outside and sometimes it gets crispier as it bakes in the tin. They are baked using electronic timers, and we have to ensure it gets to a specific internal temperature for food safety. We would have been happy to replace one you felt was too dark, a quick phone call to let us know you weren't happy and we could have rectified it. As you said - staff were friendly and quick, so they would have been happy to swap it out. We are quite accustomed to folks asking for a specific pullapart, cinnamon bun or even loaf of bread as everyone's preferences are different. Your cinnamon loaf French toast will be the best you've ever had.. i love toasting that loaf as it makes the whole house smell like you baked it at home (just an insider tip for ya ;)) The apricot delight also makes a wicked good bread pudding if that is your kinda thing.. though sometimes hard to keep any as leftovers because it is so dang good!
