We were there for the first time today. There was no burek (we were there shortly before closing time), but the lovely lady made some especially. The food is really A1. Like in Kosovo. Really good. I will be happy to come back again and again and recommend it to others. Thank you again for your hospitality (rarely have you been served so well) and the good food. You are doing everything right! Finally in Basel, the real deal! They make both versions of the Balkan burek, either "rolled" or "in layers". They offer different fillings: meat (burek), spinach, cheese (some call it sirnica), and more. Recently they started making "cevapi" as well, and again, they nailed it! They are as good as the one you could get in Bosnia for instance. They have joghurt to drink, not Ayran(they have that too, but that's not the point) if you know you know. Finally, the tulumba (sweet dough, fried and dipped/covered with a sugar and lemon based syrup) is as good as the tulumba my grandma make. It's good stuff! Be aware that if you are in a rush, if they don't have the burek you want ready, it will take about 15minutes to make/cook it.
