The farm is really idyllic, with apple, plum and walnut trees all around. Dad's breakfast buffet looked great, but we only wanted to eat a little something because we weren't that hungry. The cakes look great, but I found that the cheesecake lacked the freshness (in the taste) and the Bernauer Torte (is that the correct term) had fat sticking to the roof of my mouth at some point. The espresso macchiato is a joke because it consists neither of espresso nor of a macchiato foam layer. I would even say it was the worst macchiato I've ever had in a restaurant. Overall, the cakes all look appetizing, and other guests like them, so I don't judge too harshly, but almost €20 for two coffees with cake - well... The waitresses are very friendly, the atmosphere is nice, we picked up eggs and beer from the farm shop. The Bumbaurhof deserves a second chance. For the prices offered (sausage salad 9.50 euros, very clear and also Lyoner) is more than very excessive for this area. It's at Lake Starnbergersee level, just without the ambience. Whoever likes it... Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
