Best bubbles in Edmonton!!! I have searched long and hard for a bubble tea place that is comparable to Taiwan, origin of bubble tea. I think that I've found it here! The bubbles are perfect - chewy, soft, and sweet. The drinks are also delicious. I got an original flavour, and it tasted just like the milk teas of Taipei. The pricing for drinks is $3-4 and the sizing is smaller than other places. I think that the cost ends up being comparable though. The store is small, with only a few tables. There also aren't any games like in other bubble tea shops. So I'd say grab a drink to go.
2 Thumbs Up!. Great tasting, cheap restaurant in Chinatown!!, been there many times and has never disappointment me once. The food that they serve is in a great portion in which if you're a hungry fellow like i am, this place is the place to be! Everything on the menu is priced accordingly. Not pricy at all for the food you are given. I recommend anybody to try this place out!
p.s. this restaurant is a one man show. she does the waitering and the cooking, so if the cafe is down right packed you'll have to wait your turn, their moto is first come first serve so no butting. If you can't wait than you're missing out! also... she does not speak English well or barely any. You'll just have to give her some time with your order.
A hidden gem for some Hong Kong treats in the heart of edmonton. Affordable and no frills. Limited choices on the menu but the owner is the cook and server. Give it a shot!
