I am very pleased that you liked our ambience and service and that we are one of your "favorite brasseries", I'm even more astonished by your overall rating of one star! We were very pleased that we had a full house on this “Christmas Eve”. From our point of view, our “kitchen crew” put together an exciting and varied menu for our guests, which was generally very well received, although we couldn't do this for you is, I'm very sorry! You already told me on site that we couldn't inspire you with our Christmas menu on December 24th. To our astonishment you are now spreading the word a devastating 1 star rating on various platforms, which of course greatly disappoints us! Unfortunately, based on your feedback, I couldn't clearly find out what didn't meet your expectations and unfortunately I don't have your strong dissatisfaction perceived as intensely as you are now describing it - which of course I very much regret. We have tailored the portion sizes to a 4-5 course menu, and of course we always add a supplement if requested. I apologize that the cheese course was far too small for you, we will discuss this internally. Our goal is always for our guests to leave the restaurant satisfied and full! We always strive to pamper our guests with culinary delights with our menus and are also open to constructive feedback. I'm sure we would have found a common solution there on Christmas Eve, because this scathing criticism of their "favorite brasserie" on social media helps neither you nor us... I would be happy to provide you with suggestions by email or for a personal conversation by telephone or in person on site. I would be happy if we could resolve this matter personally and we would continue to see you as loyal regulars at the “Obstberg”. could inspire culinary delights.
