Every delicious bite of food was like a hug in the mouth. It’s difficult to know where to start as every single thing was absolutely perfect. Alen was so friendly, helpful plus he has visited our home town of Edinburgh and expressed how much he loved Scottish people and we feel the same way about Romanian people. His service was totally impeccable, the best service we have had in Romania and we have stayed in 5 star hotels honestly nothing was too much trouble. I hope Alen is at least the manager as he is so good at his job. Now the amazing food, on the delicious sparks in your mouth food. I had crispy Camembert with sun dried tomatoes, which paired so well and will be something I try myself at home, my partner had the popcorn prawns which we equally agreed as super tasty the sauce was so good. For main I had the chicken thigh with baked potatoes, green salad and chimichurri and it was so yummy. My partner had the steak snitzel with truffle mash and saute mushrooms, I did steal some of his delicious mushrooms. Honestly everything was excellent, tasty and melt in the mouth. We had to have an hour rest so we could try dessert and it was so worth the wait. I had the strawberry pannacotta which was delightful and super tasty. My partner had the delicious lava cake which was melt in his mouth. We shared a fabulous bottle of Liliac red cuvee, great choice of cocktails amaretto sour, Moscow mule etc. it was possibly the best amaretto sour we have ever had. Honestly everything was so perfect. Beautifully decorated bathrooms and sparkling clean. Everyone needs to try this restaurant as we could come back to Mamaia all the way from Edinburgh just to dine here again so it makes me sad we go home tomorrow. Alen also is the double of the famous Australian actor Scott McGregor from Neighbours he was just fabulous. I was in Romania for 2 weeks and ate out in restaurants every day. All the restaurants had something noticably wrong going on every time - usually i dont write reviews about it, but one place in Romania was even so bad and disastrous, that i had to complain and write a really bad review for the first time ever. So, now i want to also say something positive - restaurant Brass was the best experience! I visited different cities and towns and was sad, that even in the more expensive restaurants, the food/service etc was not good or even acceptable. But on my last day of travel i went for late lunch to Brass and this restaurant saved my culinary opinion about Romanian restaurants and service, so i'm really really happy that in the end i got a reallly good experience super delicious food and the staff was so friendly!!!! Thank you!!!!! Amazing Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
