The food here is overpriced for the portion, and the taste is mediocre compared to other Korean spots. The rice cakes were watery and too sweet, and the grilled pork is dry and tasteless, so I do not recommend either. The side dishes were decent tasting compared to the rest, with the fresh crunchy radish being our favorite. Service is slow and inattentive. Probably would not come back. My husband and I really enjoyed our weekend lunch at Bowls Korean BBQ, during our visit to the Calgary!Service was very welcoming, friendly and very helpful.Drinks were refreshingly lovely.Portion sizes of the dishes are generous and prices are very reasonable.Started with:Best Korean Pancake I've ever tasted! Seafood Kimchi Pancake - nice touch of spice with crunchy edges!Main Dishes:Spicy Pork BBQ eas very flavourful and side dishes were a refreshing wonderful addition.Gamjatang Hot Pot was perfectly spicy, with delicious flavours to dunk a spoon full of rice in to soak up the goodness.Loved everything we ordered, the flavour combinations are pure yummy spicy goodness! My only wishes are we lived closer to dine more often at this place. It would be a dream come true if they opened a restaurant in Red Deer, Alberta...where there are no fine dining authentic Korean cuisine restaurants. Until then....I'll keep dreammming.
