The revisit to Bottega Garibaldi was to be a trip to the land of milk and honey, where everything is in abundance. That was our anticipation after several visits in recent years. The lovely owner also recognized us and so we book promptly full of excitement. In advance: such a pity : "Die Luft ist raus"( the passion is gone) we say in Germany. The evenings at the town hall square with music from the Côte d'Azur in our minds were no more. At the moment when the bottle of Ferrari was opened unhappily we have seen better. The appetizer came and put us off. The main course was a complete failure in both cases. Once an essence of salt with a fish fillet and then a squid so tough and cold as if it was served fresh from the refrigerator. The service from the main course so very inattentive. The bottle was then served itself. Gladly I would have drunk a second - but not so. The class has faded, years ago we were thrilled. The star is dropping. For us it was a disappointment like no other and not worth the price paid.
