It's really sad to have to write this review because the location and the concept are really valid in my opinion. However, what turns everything into a negative are the contents offered. Exorbitant prices for less than generous quantities of food and poorly structured dishes. My meatballs looked like very banal potato croquettes that certainly didn't deserve the €16 spent. A great shame because seeing such a practically empty place on a Friday evening makes you think. The waiter, who is also the one who prepared our dishes, was very friendly. I really don't think I would go back because given the current prices and quantities offered, in my opinion it's not worth it. I write this with regret because the idea, as previously mentioned, is very valid but poorly implemented. I sincerely hope that this review, added to the other non-positive ones I have read in recent times, can help in a positive way. Returned after a year without knowing that management had changed, total disappointment. Cold and sad atmosphere, lights off, no music, place almost completely empty despite the fantastic location and peak period. Canteen-style paper placemats (cover charge 2.50 euros) and water in 33cl plastic bottles like at the bar, chairs all ruined, I could go on. The embarrassing menu, very little choice of "meatballs", the rest of the dishes only for tourists, all at disproportionate prices. For 16 euros 5 "meatballs", which are actually pre-cooked potato croquettes that you can easily find in the supermarket, obviously without a side dish. In addition to the bitter feeling of having found a place that had totally changed for the worse, I felt cheated because the prices were really totally out of scale compared to the quality but also the quantity of the dishes. I have a bad memory, if only I had read the recent reviews I would have avoided it. The waiters were kind but you could see in their eyes the embarrassment of what the place was offering. I never write negative reviews, but this time I feel like I want to warn those like me who might come across it thinking of finding the Bolpetta of the past.
