I LOVE Bluetail Sushi, but calling this branch a "noodlebar" is false advertising. It has almost the same menu as the other bluetails, with the same selection of like, 3 noodle bowls. Was extremely disappointed. Great location though, just wish they didn't lie with the name

Unsure why this place is scoring under 4 stars.Wagyu Ishiyaki is on point. Black Tonkatsu ramen is delicious, too.The spall location has better chasiu, but this place is solid for Izakaya / Japanese appies.Highly recommend this location.. we've been here over 6 times... once with a table of 10 we bought out their Wagyu :)

Not sure if this place deserves a 'noodlebar' word in the restaurant's name when most of the menus are not noodle-related (and there isn't any blue tail inside lol) On a high note, Bluetail Noodlebar hits the atmosphere spot on: perfect atmosphere for a date! Dim, warm lights and jazz songs playing in the background easily nailed the setup. Trust me, although I've no girlfriend (as of November 1, 2019; sad i know ), this restaurant urges me to find one—quick.As soon as I entered the restaurant, all I saw were couples sitting across each other by the windows. And not to mention, I kinda got these weird stares from those couples as I was coming just by myself haha; but tbh I didn't mind the stares cause I just didn't care . Anyways, if you're into some place super romantic, you gotta consider this one out.Alright, moving on (no pun intended lol) to another aspect! I ordered the Black Oil Tonkotsu Ramen and it was served in a timely manner. I'd say it was a decent ramen: the noodle had a great texture; half-boiled egg was almost spot on; and boy did you mention thick-slices of meat! Everything was great only to be ruined by a rather-tasteless noodle broth—the taste was not rich compared to other ramen bars and it da tasted more like an instant sauce on water. It was quite unfortunate since the ramen—in my opinion—had a potential to hit the bull's eye.Staff-wise: only one staff (I don't know his name!) was in charge when I came in. That being said, however, he was super professional and friendly. Whoever you were, I'll give you a shoutout for respectfully serving me, a single person in the middle of couples having romantic dates
