We had an amazing dinner at Black & Blue. Our server Kyle was the best. We were seated out on the patio area (it was cold) and he asked if we were cold and when we said yes he had a portable heater brought over. He is a great conversationalist. Loved seeing him make the actual Caesar salad dressing in the bowl then add in the romaine lettuce. And it was the best salad I’ve had in a long time. I would love the recipe! We had Caesar salad and prime rib. So delicious. I loved the sides of horseradish and mustard seed and salt. It made the food even better. And the butter cake was sooo delicious! The only star marked off was for the patio being cold. But Kyle helped out with that issue. Also note that the washrooms were upstairs. Not sure if there is an elevator or not. Casual dinner with friend before to watch the comedy show. The server Kyle is amazing. He is very detail-oriented and funny. The salad and butter cake are super good. I recently celebrated my birthday at Black+Blue Toronto with friends and family, and it was an unforgettable experience. The upscale ambiance and stylish decor created the perfect setting for a special occasion, making the evening feel extra memorable. We were impressed with the attentive service; the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, even helping us with recommendations and thoughtful wine pairings. The food was outstanding—our group enjoyed a range of premium steaks and fresh seafood, each dish beautifully presented and full of flavor. The sides, especially the truffle mashed potatoes, were the perfect complement. It was a bit on the pricier side, but the quality of food, service, and atmosphere made it well worth it.
