The cuisine at this tiny, simply furnished restaurant includes barbecued dishes and fermented ingredients, all of which feature on a tasting menu. Guests can also choose à la carte: the small portions (as the restaurant name suggests) make it possible to taste several dishes at a reasonable cost. Goodness. What a lunch…! Perhaps the most innovative food I’ve eaten in a while, Bites tasting menu is awesome. Left in the hands of the chefs, 9 courses combining quality produce, created some real taste sensations. Bites philosophy is ‘a journey of small, carefully crafted dishes, each a burst of flavour, contrast, and sensation’ and this was a thread throughout the meal. I didn’t think every course would work as there were a number of tastes I’d never tried, yet they did. Even the chicken liver pate and shrimp extraction pasta worked amazingly well. Service was perfect. Friendly, informative and fun. Sitting around the counter, with a backdrop of cool music, gave this experience a cool vibe. Yes some food was a little challenging however that only made this experience all the more enjoyable. If you’re open minded when it comes to trying different food and flavour combinations, I cannot recommend this more highly. A great and memorable lunch. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: €90–100

Super special small restaurant with a creative fusion menu. Experimental flavors that somehow work amazingly together. Great wine pairings and Very friendly staff. A must when in Milano! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
