We had dinner at this restaurant in Geleen for the first time yesterday. What an amazing atmosphere and service. We were received very kindly. We were tempted by the chef's 5 course menu. An amuse was served with the bubbles. Wow, what an explosion of flavors!!! This promises something for the rest of the evening. The starter was served with bread with homemade beurre noisette. What a pleasant second surprise. The starter, two tuna preparations served separately, was also an amazing explosion of flavors. Very special and beautiful fresh tuna. The sequel is equally memorable with the two entrees of artichoke and sweetbreads. The main course is also of a very high standard, the lamb cooked excellently and once again a great combination of flavors. The dessert (rhubarb, yogurt, vanilla and magnolia) is of a level that you rarely taste. Very creative and artistic team because in addition to the great flavors, the dishes also look beautiful and artistic. A tip: don't skip the matching wine arrangement, because this is just as memorable. Each wine paired perfectly and more than complemented the dishes, in terms of flavors they are an extension of what is served on the plate. Be surprised here, it did that to us too. And, oh yes, while you're there, end the evening with a delicious (double) espresso from Blanche Dael with friandise. And all this for a very acceptable price. A compliment to this ambitious and young team. We will definitely come back!
